  • What types of training do you offer? Anything your business requires. For ideas regarding our customized training solutions, please check the Training Topics section of our website.

  • How much does training my workforce cost? Training costs vary greatly between solutions. For a customized quote please contact MariAnn Fisher, our Marketing and Sales Manager at (925) 560-9445.

  • Can we choose an instructor who best fits our employees' needs? Our department makes it a point to match the best instructor with the curriculum and client. Before any trrainings begin, our clients meet with the instructors to ensure compatability.

  • We are not exactly sure what trainings we need, but know that we need training. What do we do? Training and Development Solutions will meet with you to discuss your organization's concerns and help determine what trainings or other solutions will meet those needs.

  • Our company runs around the clock. Do you have instructors that will train during all shifts? Yes. TDS works with clients to customize training schedules to meet the client's needs.

  • How many people can attend your trainings? The amount of trainees in a course is dependent upon the type of material presented and the room capacity. TDS has found that adult learners benefit best in smaller sized classes (less than 20 students). In situations where the client requires more than 20 participants in a single training, two instructors may be provided or the materials customized to compensate for a larger group.

  • Do we have to go to the college campus to attend your trainings? No. We organize and schedule trainings to fit your organization's needs. Trainings can be held on-site at your location, or if you prefer at our college campuses.

  • Are there funding resources available to off-set training costs? Yes, there are several funding options. For further information regarding funding, visit our Funding Page.

  • We have a trainer, but need a location for the training. Can you help? TDS can provide training facilities at either one or our two college campuses or at our district office. For more information, see Training Centers.

  • We have proprietary software that we need to teach our employees. Can you provide an instructor? Yes, TDS will work with you to find an instructor for almost any kind of training necessary for your organization.

  • How quickly can we set up a training? Once TDS knows what kind of training your organization needs, we will be able to coordinate with you a timeline and begin training as soon as possible.

  • What is your service area? The East Bay and TriValley are our main service areas. However, we can provide trainings state-wide and even out of state.

  • We have offices in other locations. Will your instructors travel to do trainings for them? Yes, TDS can accommodate multiple locations and can arrange for instructors to train at all your sites.
